Hi, I know someone who asked me yesterday if there are any accessible crossword puzzles for the blind. If anyone knows where I can find some I'd appreciate the info. Thanks.

There is a puzzle magazine called Connundrum. It has various kinds of puzzles, including crosswords, word searches, logic puzzles, etc. You can get this magazine from NLS, and I think it's a monthly magazine.

That's cool. This person also has macular degeneration and isn't able to read braille so would need large print or some form of audio not sure if that's possible.

Ah OK. ... Hmmm. *thinks* ... They might have some large-print crosswords at a regular store maybe. Or, actually, try Googling "large-print crosswords", and you'll find a whole bunch of places that sell them. They also even have some sites where you can download/print them out for free. *smile*

Thanks, Gemi. I will certainly check this out, because I've wanted Braille word game for a very long time.

APH has a program called talking word puzzles-maybe this works with crosswords?
